10% Happier announces $5M in funding to build out “Nike for the Mind” Mindful Meditation Company

10% Happier is an app offering a series of meditation courses designed especially for those who’ve been traditionally skeptical of meditation.

The company has raised $3.7 million in new seed (seed II) funding and the latest round brings the company’s total raise to date to $5 million. Investors include Khosla Ventures, Trinity Ventures, and Correlation Ventures, along with its prior investors, Eniac Ventures, NextView and Founder Collective.

To date, users have logged over 50 million mindful minutes, and it continues to grow.

Additionally,10% Happier powers Apple’s corporate mindfulness program. All employees globally have access to the app, and there is a yearly Mindful Minute Challenge.

Monday on stage at WWDC, 10% Happier was demoed Siri Suggestions for both iOS 12 and the WatchOS 5 Siri Watch Face.
