7AC Technologies Raises $2.4M

7AC Technologies, a provider of energy-efficient air conditioning and heating technology, has raised $2.375 million in venture capital, the company disclosed on Thursday in a regulatory filing. 38 separate investors participated in the offering. The round was led by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC).

7AC Technologies develops ultra high efficiency air conditioning systems that use up to 75% less electricity compared to conventional HVAC technologies. The firm’s liquid desiccant and plastic membrane plate based air conditioning system is designed to be a drop in replacement for existing rooftop HVAC systems on commercial and industrial buildings.
