9Lenses, a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) venture that provides packaged organizational intelligence and analytics, announced today that it has closed a Series A round of financing. The round was led by Kinetic Ventures and CEB (NYSE:CEB), the leading member-based advisory company. Jake Tarr, Managing Director of Kinetic Ventures, and Jesse Levin, Executive Director of Strategy & Development for CEB, are joining 9Lenses’ board.

‘ 9Lenses is unleashing an entirely new type of predictive analytics that links people data to performance outcomes,’ says Edwin Miller, the CEO and Founder of 9Lenses. ‘Business leaders can now turn the wisdom of stakeholders within and across the extended enterprise into insights that drive business outcomes. Every employee, customer, board member, and investor holds a vital piece of an organization’s strategic puzzle. By capturing and analyzing the voice of every stakeholder in one place, C-Suite decision makers can improve the agility of their response to front-line risks and opportunities.’

The 9Lenses platform connects learning across every part of the enterprise. Traditionally, senior executives used fragmented surveys, assessments, BI tools, spreadsheets, and face-to-face interviews to manage internal resources and respond to market shifts. Soliciting stakeholder feedback was slow, invasive and, more often than not, produced data that was dated or disconnected. Any enterprise can now leverage one of 9Lenses’ interview application Suites to capture the voice of any group of stakeholders in real-time.

Multi-app Suites include: Voice of the Customer, Voice of the Workforce, Global Quality, and Sales Motion & Acceleration. 9Lenses also offers stand-alone apps like the Business 360 or Team 360. Each interview app mines consultant depth data at survey speed.

9Lenses platform uniquely helps companies structure and analyze their performance data across stakeholder categories, helping gain important insight into organizational performance challenges and reducing the dependency on external sources of expert advice. In doing so, 9Lenses work is consistent with CEB’s mission.

‘9Lenses changes the way enterprises collect organizational intelligence data. This platform has the power to change how companies learn about organizational strengths, challenges, focus areas, market intelligence and stakeholder perceptions,’ suggests Jake Tarr of Kinetic Ventures. ‘9Lenses has developed a global client base with tremendous growth potential.’

About 9Lenses:

9Lenses is the leading provider of organizational intelligence software, a next-generation platform which uses a proprietary Interview Engine and Analytics package to rapidly diagnose organizational strengths, challenges, and focus areas. Respondents share their ideas, opinions, and perceptions about organizational health through digital interview applications. The resulting data provides deeper insight than thousands of face-to-face interviews, and reaches decision makers in minutes not months. Most notably, enterprises own the data and can benchmark scores against internal and external industry standards to find areas of best practice and accelerate performance over time.
