Amino Raises $1.65M

Amino, a startup building mobile communities has raised $1.65 million in seed funding led by Union Square Ventures.

Additional investors in the seed round include Google Ventures, SV Angel, Box Group, Scott Belsky, Slow Ventures, Paul English, Kal Vepuri, Launch Angels and David Chang.

We™re creating a network of mobile apps, each of which is exclusively dedicated to a specific interest like k-pop, Minecraft, anime, Doctor Who etc. When you get people together who are passionate about a similar interest, amazing things happen.
