Arima Genomics Completes Series A Financing

Genomics of Arima, Inc. , a company focused on research tools to accelerate understanding of the genome sequence and structure towards their role in human health and disease, announces the completion of its Series A funding round Agilent Technology, Inc. (NYSE: a) and Cowin Venture led this round, together with Vectr Ventures and the Berkeley Catalyst Fund.

The proceeds from this funding will be directed towards the expansion of Arima’s commercial efforts, the development of new applications to the existing Arima HiC platform, including the addition of structural analysis capabilities to conventional chromatin immunoprecipitation via HiChIP, and the development of new products, including smooth-covered HiC applications for gap-less de novo assemblies and population sequences. The funding will also support the expansion of Arima’s operations and enhance customer service and support experience.
