As an OCTANe Launchpad company, Arkami presented the VC at the OC conference last month. MyIDkey was recently named CEWeek’s Best Show Premier Product Winner This January, Arkami unveiled myIDkey at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, where it won three Innovation Awards in the categories Computer Peripherals, Accessories and Personal Electronics.
The funding round included investments by Gordon Clemons, McNeel Capital and Mark Swanson, as well as a number of other veteran angel investors. The funding will be used to accelerate the development of myIDkey, meet customer demand and facilitate the growth of the company.
MyIDkey is a complete password management system that fills in passwords across all frequently used websites on personal computers and smart mobile devices. It stores all your passwords and critical information on a portable Bluetooth/USB device. Unlocked with a finger swipe, myIDkey lets you search your voice for login, password and ID information on your own OLED screen for quick access while you’re on the go. By using myIDkey apps for iPhone and Android, you can easily manage and edit passwords and encrypt selected files to protect your unique fingerprint.
MyIDkey recently completed a Kickstarter campaign that sold more than 5,000 units in 30 days, making it one of the most successful technology projects ever launched on the consumer market.
