Asana, according to Reuters, has lined up $28 million in a financing round led by Peter Thiel, co-founder of PayPal, and his Founders Fund.
Asana is an effort to re-imagine how teams can get things done. The firm is building a modern way to work together, a fast and versatile web application that connects everyone to what’s going on, their shared priorities, and who owns every part of the effort.
The team is made up of engineering, business and thought leaders from companies such as Facebook and Google. Asana is also supported by Benchmark Capital and Andreessen-Horowitz and an experienced team of consultants.
