BeachMint Sweetens Up with $35M Round

BeachMint today announced that it has raised $35 million in financing from leading venture capital firms, Accel Partners, Goldman Sachs, New World Ventures, Millenium Technology Value Partners and NALA. Existing investors participating in the round are NEA, Trinity Ventures and Scale Ventures.

This new funding round, which brings BeachMint total funding to more than $75 million, will be used to further BeachMint’s global expansion, to strengthen its existing brands and to launch a number of new brands planned for 2012.

Come with the style icon Rachel Bilson and the stylist Nicole Chavez, in collaboration with the shoemaker Steve Madden. BeachMint is planning to announce two more celebrity partners in the coming months.
