BlueKite has developed proprietary technology that provides more options for millions of consumers who have emigrated and are still supporting friends and families back home. According to official data from the World Bank, more than 215 million people have emigrated from their homelands today. In 2011, these wage earners, responsible for family members, transferred more than $500 billion to their home countries. It is expected that the BlueKite payment platform will be available to consumers via the internet, mobile devices, as well as through the in-store version supported by the clerk.
