Tech Hub Harare opens applications for its incubation programme

Tech Hub Harare is a co-working space and innovation hub. It has launched its incubation programme to offer Zimbabwean startups funding and mentorship opportunities.

Tech Hub Harare is an entrepreneurship platform, with a mission to enable entrepreneurs to connect, network and grow their ideas into profitable ventures. Above all, they are focused on creating sustainable jobs and entrepreneurship led economic growth.

In other words, the programme is looking for technology-driven startups that solve various issues in communities they serve and beyond. Further, this is a six-month programme involving ideation, validation, business training and product market support.

Some of the benefits include-

  • Selected startups will receive cloud computing and business support.
  • Allocated mentors will provide weekly feedback on the development of startups.
  • Assistance on a broad range of activities including sales, branding, product development, market development, working capital management and human resource management.
  • Startups get professional help and access to proven tools and domain experts.

Moreover, Tech Hub Harare is seeking startups at the idea stage which can solve challenges in financial services, education, energy, logistics and agriculture. However, they will also charge a fee of US$75 per month for the benefits provided.

The six-month incubation programme will start on 13 July and culminate in December. On the demo day, four startups will be selected. They will participate in the US$ 25K Tech Hub Harare Accelerator Programme.
